Beryl retired from the Union Carbide Y-12 plant where he was employed as a truck driver. He was Past President and Treasurer of the Cave Creek Community Club and a former member of Roane Co. Soil Conservation Committee. Beryl attended Cave Creek Primitive Baptist Church where he loved to sing old time gospel songs. | Crye, Willie Mae (Peggy) age 84 of Lenoir City passed away Friday, June 28, 2002 at the Loudon Health Care Center. Peggy was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. Retired from the Dept. of Air Force. Preceded in death by parents, W. H. and Mary Eggerton; 3 brothers; 1 sister; former husband, Harold Crye. Survived by son David Crye of Rome, NY; daughter, Helen Coker of Tuttle, OK; sister, Bertha Goodman of Tyler, TX; sister-in-law, Naomi Bright; special friend, Eleanor Spears; several nieces and nephews. | Arbogast, Ethel Mae age 92 of Mt. Top, PA, went to be with the Lord Friday morning, June 28, 2002, at Ft. Sanders Park West Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Ethel was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in St. Johns, PA and Calvary Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ethel was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Fred Arbogast; parents, Albert and Catherine Fisher Smith; brothers, Albert, Daniel and Walter Smith. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Robert Horlacher of Sugarloaf, PA, Linda and Fred Degillio of Kingston, PA, Irene and George Eyrich of Knoxville; grandchildren, Deborah and John Blackburn, Diane and Kenneth Stetz, Jane Ann Stephenson, Catherine and David Dorris, Elizabeth and Kenneth Campbell, Adam Degillio, Daniel and Nathan Eyrich; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and family from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Harman Marks Funeral Home in Drums, PA. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 A.M. | Longworth, Robert Ferrell age 66 of Knoxville, TN, passed away Friday afternoon, June 28, 2002 at St. Mary's Hospice Center after a 4 month courageous battle with stomach cancer. Robert enjoyed life, building nurturing relationships with family and friends. He was a wonderful and caring father and grandfather. As a teenager, Bob was awarded the merit of Eagle Scout. He served in the U.S. Army and later graduated from the University of Tampa, Florida. He was retired as Deputy Regional Director of the FDIC in Cosa Mesa, CA, enjoying a 30 year government career. In retirement, he enjoyed travel, tennis and hiking in the Smoky Mtns. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy L. Longworth; father, Augustus G. Longworth. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Michael E. and Nancy M. Longworth of Clearwater, FL, William D. and Donna F. Longworth of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Robert W., Corey M., Courtney D. and Ashley M. Longworth; mother, Alice F.
