I said, "God, I hurt." And God said, "I know"
I said, "God, I cry a lot."

I said, "God, I'm so depressed."
And God said, "That's why I gave you sunshine."
I said, "God, life is so hard."
And God said, "That's why I gave you loved ones."

I said, "God, my loved one died. "And God said, "So did mine."
I said, "God, it's such a loss."
And God said, "I saw mine nailed to a cross."

I said, "God, but your loved one lives."
And God said, "So does yours."

I said, "God, it still hurts. "And God said, "I know."

"I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from whencecometh my help? My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved; He that keepth thee shall neither slumber. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is they keeper; the Lord is they shade at thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil; He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore."      Psalm 121
