| Davis, Alberta Keener, age 96 of Lenoir City passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2003. She was born in Lenoir City on March 2, 1907. Alberta was a devoted member of Central United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Harley W. Davis; parents, James Thomas Keener and Anna Duff Keener; infant son, Curtis Davis; brothers, Everett, Curtis, Harold, Maurice (Bud) and Paul Keener; sisters, Grace Harrison and Margaret White. Survived by daughters, Agnes (Jack) Denton of Lenoir City, Phyllis (Charles) Groover of Clinton, Janice (Bud) Rogers of Lenoir City, and Betty (Harry) Plemons, of Lenoir City, her mother’s primary caregiver; grandchildren, Michael Denton and wife, Margaret of Johnson City, Timothy Denton and wife, Ruth Ann of Lenoir City, Gary Groover and Sayona, Greg Groover all of Oak Ridge, Cathy Lawless and husband, Wayne of Clinton, Mark Groover and wife, Melanie of Aiken, South Carolina, Marty Rogers and wife, Rhonda, Christopher Rogers and wife, LeaAnn all of Lenoir City, Melissa Rogers Rice and husband, Wesley of Knoxville; sisters and brother-in-law, Anna (Bobe) White and husband, B. | Locke, Nora Gray Key age 78 of West Knoxville, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Tuesday evening, April 1,2003. Nora was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. She taught at Bearden High School and also taught continuing education in later years. Nora was a active member of the Knoxville Republican Club, member of the DAR, and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she also received her MBA. Nora was an awesome mother, was devoted to her Bible studies and enjoyed the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Homer Abraham (Hal) Locke Jr.;parents, Horace Leonard Key and Ruth Gray Key. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, H. Allen and Sandy R. Locke of Katy, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth L. and Sam F. Bonnie L. - of Lenoir City, a proud mother, friend, and a devoted Christian, passed away Monday, April 7th, 2003. She was born Bonnie L. Mendenhall in
Naylor, Missouri on December 20, 1938. Bonnie was a proud mother, whom had great care for all of her children and grandchildren. Her devotion to her children
has left a forever lasting impression on her family and friends. To her grandchildren she was known as "Nonna". Bonnie was a member of Two Rivers
Church in Farragut, Tn. She treated and perceived life as a " Gift from God". Her knowledge of Scripture has been shared from generation to
generation. She was an employee of The Fresh Market in Farragut serving as Assistant Front End Manager. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melburn
Garrett and Afton Mendenhall and her brother, Dan Mendenhall. Bonnie is survived by her three daughters: Brandi Boncore (Woods), Rebecca Mackey (Johnson) ,and
Teresa Teague (Johnson) all of Lenoir City; five grandchildren: Rachael and Sarah Mackey, Phoenix, Dakota and Zachary Howard; one brother, Buddy Mendenhall of

| Hilemon, Donnie Jack, age 37, formerly of Anderson County, passed away at his home in Nashville, April 5th. He attended Clinton Senior High School, where he was captain of the 1984 football team and awarded the most valuable player. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oliver Springs, Tn. Preceded in death by his father, Jack Hilemon, and niece, Amanda Faulkner. | Kuhn, Albert H. age 87 of Knoxville, formerly of Erie, Pa, passed away on Saturday evening, April 12, 2003 at the Baptist Health Care Center in Lenoir City, TN. Al was a member of Lakewood Methodist Church in Erie, Pa, for many years but had recently attended Faith Lutheran Church in Farragut. He was a veteran of World War II, America's greatest generation, serving with the army under General Patton in Europe. Al was an Assistant Brewmaster with Koehler's Brewing Co. in Erie, Pa. He was a member of the Lions Club in Erie for over 50 years. in Roan Mountain, Tenn. She lived in Erwin, Tenn., from 1942 to 1968 where she was active in the Parent-Teacher Association and many civic organizations. She
was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church where she served as director of the Youth Sunday School Department and Vacation Bible School. Mrs. Evans has
resided in Knoxville since 1968. She was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church for 35 years where she was active in the Rebecca Circle. She was a
member of the Farragut Ruritan Club and the Volunteer Women of Knox County. She was also a loyal lifetime volunteer for the local, state, and national
Republican Party. She was a member of the Farragut North Republican Precinct Committee and a charter member of the Concord Farragut Area Republican Club.

| Hatmaker, Kent D. Sr. (Pappy) age 68 of West Knoxville passed away Monday afternoon, April 28, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospice Center. Kent was a member of Virtue Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a surveyor for many years. A member of Chota Lodge # 253 F&AM. A veteran of the U. S. Army. Kent was preceded in death by his parents, K. O. and Maggie Johnson Hatmaker. Survivors: wife of 45 years, Carolyn Hatmaker; children and spouses, Len and Gary Wallen and Kent D. Jr. (Kenny) and Amy Hatmaker all of Knoxville; granddaughters, Elizabeth, Maggie, Bethany and Sarah; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Nancy Hatmaker of Knoxville, Larry and Pat Hatmaker of New Market; sister, Kubelene Harmon of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 p.m. Wednesday followed by funeral services at 8 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Rev. Don Acton officiating. A masonic service will follow conferred by Chota Lodge. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Thursday at Concord Masonic Cemetery for graveside services with full military honors conferred by the East Tennessee Veteran Honor Guard.
