Johnson, Margaret Elizabeth (Lib) - age 67 of Lenoir City, passed away Friday afternoon, December 1, 2006 at Parkwest Medical Center.  She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.  Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She touched the hearts of everyone she meet.  Preceded in death by husband, James A. Eblen, Dorothy Grace Masters Cook - age 93 of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday morning, December 3, 2006, at her home. Grace was the oldest living member of Lenoir City Church of Christ, where she was a Sunday School teacher and the oldest living member of the Loudon County Democrat Club. She was also active in 4-H Club, Clionian Club, Loudon County Cancer Society, Tennessee Cattleman’s Association, and Home Demonstration Club. She was involved with activities at Baptist Health Care Center for 35 years and served on the Loudon County Agricultural Committee. She also taught school in the Loudon County School System and worked at Oak Ridge all while being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gypsy Masters; husbands, Cowden Cook and James Eblen; infant daughter, Jo Ann Cook; grandson, Donald Cook; brothers: Dan Masters, Bill Masters, Clay Masters, Charles Masters, David Masters; sister, Docia Sloan; sister-in-law, Ruth Eblen Gaut; daughter-in-law, Beverly Cook. Phillip Deewayne (Dee) Seiber, age 70 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006. Dee was employed with West Knox Utility, where he retired as an inspector. He was an avid musician, and loved to play his guitar as a valued member of the Hardin Valley Community, playing regularly at the Fire Hall. In his younger days, Dee loved to coon hunt and play softball. John Richard Lundgren, of Knoxville, TN, formerly of East Longmeadow, MA, and Lantana, FL, passed away Sunday evening, December 3, 2006 at Park West Hospital. John was owner of Northeast Supply before his retirement. He was the loving husband of Phyllis Grace Lundgren for 66 years before her death in 2004. John was a member of Charles C. Spellman Lodge F#AM in East Longmeadow, a 33 Degree Mason and was Past Potentate of Melha Shrine Temple in Springfield, MA. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Elizabeth Zarecki and Ruth Anne Killam. Survivors include his children: J. Riggle, Charles Harold, age 86 of Signal Mountain, passed away Thursday December 7, 2006 at the Alexian Health Care Center  in Signal Mountain.  He was born October 21, 1920 in Crockett, VA., was raised in Lenoir City, TN and lived in the Knoxville area for many years. He worked in sales of construction and industrial equipment in Chattanooga and Knoxville. Charles was a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, and he served as an elder in the Preybsterian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Ruth Eubanks Riggle and sister Janie Powell. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Juanita Wiggins Riggle of Signal Mountain, TN.; 2 daughters, Suzanne Riggle of Signal Mountain, TN and Rebecca Painter and husband Alan of Raleigh, NC.; 2 grandsons, Andrew and Steve Painter; brother, Tom Riggle of Lenoir City, TN.; several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to11 a.m Saturday with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Helen Louise Hogan, age 82 of Lenoir City, formerly of Oak Ridge and Princeton, KY passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at her home after losing a brief battle with cancer.  She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Oak Ridge.  Helen retired from the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge with 40 years service.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Lora Hogan; sister, Edith Gentry and brother, L. James Emerson Brummitt, age 83 of Lenoir City, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family.  James was born February 26, 1923 to Oscar and Molly Brummitt.  He had been a resident of Loudon County for 83 years.  James married Ada B. Greene on June 25, 1948 in Chatsworth, Georgia.  He was a member of the Laborers Unions Local for over 50 years.  In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by: brothers, Charles, Clifford, Johnny and Ted Brummitt; sister, Edna Greene.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ada Brummitt; son, James Boyd, son and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Brummitt; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Joe Jenkins; grandchildren, Lauren Brummitt and Jeremy Jenkins; great granddaughter, Kaylen McAcy; brothers, Gary, Tony, Tommy and Perry Ray Brummitt; sister, Clara Gardner; along with many nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hawkins Chapel. James Vaught Lawson, age 83 of Lenoir City, passed away Monday, December 11, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer.  James was a veteran of W. W. II serving with the U. S. Army  806th Engineers in the Asiatic - Pacific Theater.  After the war he moved to Detroit, MI for 32 years,where he retired from Cadillac Motors.  After retirement, James moved back to Tennessee and worked at Cedar Hills Golf Course, where he met many friends and played golf almost daily.  His family and friends will miss his great smile and sense of humor.  He was preceded in death by parents, Charles Madison Lawson and Irene Duff Lawson.  He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Juanita Lawson; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and James Wheeler of North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Linda Lawson of Missouri; brother, Charles Lawson of Maryville; grandchildren, Dan Lawson, serving in Germany, David Lawson of Ann Arbor MI and Patty Lawson of Monroe, MI; great grandchildren, Drake, Luke, Henry and Dalton.  The family would like to thank Hospice for all the care and support that they have given the entire family.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in the  Click Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Carl H. (Speedy) Parks, age 89 of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday December 10, 2006 at U. T. Medical Center.  Carl attended Unitia Free Holiness Church.  He was a retired machinist from Union Carbide in Oak Ridge.  Carl was a veteran of W. W. II serving in the U. S. Army and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.  He was preceded in death by parents, William H. and Carrie Belle Parks; sisters, Laura Smith, Irene Davis, Gussie Tuck and Georgia Quillen; brothers, Jim Parks, Floyd H. Jules S. Rensen, age 75 of Knoxville, formerly of Los Angeles, CA, passed away Saturday afternoon, December 9, 2006 at NHC Cavett Hill. Jules was an attorney in Los Angeles for many years, practicing with his wife in the law firm of Rensen and Rensen. He was an avid sailor and loved to race boats. Smith, Eddie Tom (Edwin Thomas) - age 66 of Lenoir City, passed away early Monday morning, December 18, 2006, at his home. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lenoir City. A graduate of Lenoir City High School Class of 1959 and Carson Newman College in 1963, Eddie Tom was a 2002 inductee into the Lenoir City High Sports Hall of Fame. He spent most of his career in city government working as the City Administrator of Lenoir City before retiring as the City Manager of Kingston. He was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Grace Gibbs Weddington Adkisson, age 82 of Knoxville passed away Monday evening, December 18, 2006 at Park West Hospital.  Grace was born in Ashland City, TN, and was a graduate of the University of Tennessee.  She taught at Holston Valley High School, Sullivan County, TN. She married Frank John Weddington (deceased 1980) of Bristol, TN.  They were faithful members of State Street Church of Christ in Bristol, and later the West End Church of Christ, Knoxville, TN. She taught at Cedar Bluff Middle School in Knoxville. She married David Adkisson (deceased 1993) of Ashland City, TN.  They were faithful members of Ashland City Church of Christ.  In addition to her husbands, Grace was preceded in death by her  parents, 3 sisters and 7 brothers. Grace is survived by her children and their spouses, Larry and Virginia Weddington of Bristol, TN, Barbara and Roy Suhadolnik of Chicago, IL, Linda and Bob Weaver of Johnson City, TN, Lois and Mike McGaha of Lenoir City, TN; grandchildren, Sarah and John Wiley Weddington, Kathy Raymond, Rebecca and Adrienne Weaver, Allison Myers, Melissa and Kenneth MaGaha; 5 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and 2 sisters, Mary Windham of Clarksville and Sally Wherry of Nashville. Marion Wayne Banner, age 82, of Farragut, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, December 19, 2006. Wayne was a member of West End Church of Christ. He was married to Frances Janet Banner on August 1957. Wayne was retired from Oak Ridge Associated Universities.  He was a former employee at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital and  University of Tennessee at Oak Ridge. Wayne was a veteran of World War II serving with the Army, and was recipient of the Bronze Star, the African Middle Eastern medal and WW II Victory medal. A faithful and devoted husband, Wayne was most proud of his wife, children and his four grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and loved University of Tennessee sports. Mianna Feather Parris Owl, age 86 of Lenoir City, TN formerly of Cherokee, NC, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2006 at her home. Koprince, William Craig, Jr. (Lance Corp. United States Marines)- age 24 of Lenoir City, passed away December 27, 2006 at 2:45 a.m. est while serving with the Third Battalion, Second Marine Division, India Company First Platoon in Iraq. Billy was a 2001 graduate of Lenoir City High School and a member of New Life Church of the Nazarene in Oak Ridge. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Morgan Wickman, Dr. Robert Koprince and Evelyn Koprince. William Lee (Bill) Taylor, husband, father, brother, decorated Naval Aviator, Airline Captain, and friend died suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday, December 28, 2006 in Tellico Village, Tennessee. After growing up in Peekskill, NY, Bill graduated from Georgia Tech University. Immediately after his college graduation he entered the U.S. Navy where he was Commissioned and earned his Wings of Gold as a Naval Aviator - and began a distinguished career serving his country as a Fighter Pilot. During the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, then Lieutenant (jg) Taylor was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his bravery and exploits while flying Low Level Photo Reconnaissance Missions over the island of Cuba, and President John F. Kennedy personally decorated his squadron with the Navy Unit Commendation for their bravery and selfless service to their country. After leaving the Navy he embarked on a 34-year career as a pilot with United Airlines where he earned the four stripes of an Airline Captain. His career culminated as the Captain of the Boeing 747, flying to destinations around the world. Retiring in 1997 first to Pensacola, Florida and then to Tellico Village, Tennessee he and his wife Terry enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and a close knit group of friends, while being active in their community and in their church. Bill played in the Church Orchestra and the Handbell Choir of the First Baptist Church of Tellico Village, and he served as a church trustee.  Bill is survived by his cherished wife of 46 years Terolyn (Terry) Wilkins Taylor of the home, a daughter Hillary Taylor Sheffer and her husband Brent of Columbus, Ohio, two sons, Christopher Bruce Taylor and his wife Christi of New Port Ritchie, Florida, Benjamin Terrell Taylor and his wife Michelle of Ashland, Ohio, one sister Mrs. JoAnn Taylor Brace and her husband, Robert of Syracuse, Utah, four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Tellico Village. Garry Charles (Egg) Maddox, age 59 of Lenoir City, formerly of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Garry was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church. He was retired from Walmart Transportation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Thelma Maddox. Garry is survived by his wife, Belinda Raper Maddox; daughter, Brooke Maddox of Knoxville; step-children, Andrew and Matthew Raper; second mother, Gladys Roach; sister, Judy Humphreys and husband, Cary of Knoxville; uncles, Rev. Donald Jacobs, age 65 passed away peacefully at his home in Tellico Village on December 31, 2006 after a 17-month battle with lung cancer.  Born in Rushmore, MN, he served four years in the Air Force, and worked for Delta Air Lines for 27 years in Chicago and West Palm Beach.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Mildred Jacobs.  Survivors are his wife, Carole, of 22 years, and siblings, Phyllis (Gary) Wagley of Rushmore, MN, Joyce (Mark) Cavaness of Windom, MN and Steven (Debra) Jacobs of Sauk Rapids, MN, along with many nieces and nephews.  He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and a Mass of celebration will be held on Monday, January 8th at 11 a.m. officiated by Father David Boettner, followed by inurnment in the Columbarium at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice c/o Caris Healthcare, 1011 W.
