Falin, Lema Clark
age 82 of Kingsport, formerly of Bristol, passed away Tuesday morning,
February 1, 2005 at the home of her son in Farragut. Lema was a member of
First Broad Street United Methodist Church in Kingsport, a former member of
First United Methodist Church in Bristol and was active in the church. She
was a member of a service club of Bristol. Lema loved to travel encompassing
trips overseas, cruises and had traveled all over the U S and Canada. She
was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Worley Falin Jr. In 1996;
parents, Palmer Clark and Nora Clark; brothers, Warren Clark and B. A.
Clark. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Rebecca Hall of
Farragut; grandchildren, Jennifer Topp and husband Greg of Zionsville, IN,
Donald Hall and wife Tara of Anaheim, CA, Clark Hall of Nashville, Lindley
Hall of Farragut; great granddaughter, Isabella Topp; brother and
sister-in-law, James and Betty Clark of Arizona; sister and brother-in-law,
Jewell and Gene Brooks of Kingsport; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Velma and Harold Harris of Clarksville, TN, George and Jo Falin of New
Carlisle, OH; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends

| Gellar, Burton Lyle (Yankee) - age 43 of Lenoir City, passed away Wednesday morning, February 2, 2005 in Nashville. He was a Christian. Burton was active in helping others in need by making blankets for the homeless. He was preceded in death by father, Jerry Geller and wife, Kathleen Vaughn Geller. Survived by mother, Gloria Geller of New York City; special sister, Paula Kilby and husband, Frank of Lenoir City; numerous other brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. | Donovan, Velma Lane age 95, of Greenwood SC, formerly of Farragut, widow of William Andrew "Pat" Donovan, died February 1, 2005. Velma was born in Sevier County on February 6, 1909. She was the daughter of the late William Pless and Mary Matilda Caughron Lane. Velma formerly worked in the school cafeteria at Farragut School and was a long time and active member of First Baptist Church Concord. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Patsy) Whatley of Greenwood; a son, William Andrew "Andy": Donovan of Knoxville; two sisters, Mattye Ross and Mary Kate Franklin, both of Knoxville; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Raby, Opal Prince
age 79 of Farragut passed away Thursday
morning, February 3, 2005 at her home. Opal was an active member of Middle
Creek Baptist Church during her early life and of Concord Presbyterian
Church during much of her adult life. Her life=s joy and work were dedicated
to the love of nature and the education of children. Nothing pleased her
more than a wonderful walk in the woods or a glimpse of the stars. She was
known for her wonderful sense of humor and her love of rhymes and poetry.
She retired from Knox County Schools where she served as a teacher at
Farragut Middle School and later served as a volunteer at Ball Camp
Elementary. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne E. Raby;
parents, John and Edith Phillips Prince; brother, Johnny Prince; sister,
Wilma Rose Prince Winer; half brother, Tom Prince; beloved aunt, Mae
Phillips Walls; sister-in-law, Grace Coker. She is survived by her uncle,
Arnold Walls; brother-in-law, Fred Coker. She was surrounded by loving
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were like her children. These
include: Brenda and Charles Jackson, Melanie Walls, Shannon and Glenda
Walls, Royce and Wanda Walls, Sandra and Jessie Kesterson, Don Walls, Debbie
and Steve Klaco, Libby and Don Doyle, Linda and Ken Feaga, Barbara Jacobs,

She was a member of South Holston Baptist Church. She was a loving
mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceded in death by husband,
Ed Rogers; son, Roy Rogers Sr.; great granddaughter, Summer Nicole Dutton;
twin sister, Rada Munsey along with 1 brother and 5 other sisters.

Dodson, Lydia Anne Meredith
age 40
of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Tabb, VA, went to be with her Lord after a
courageous battle with cancer. Lydia was a member of Farragut Presbyterian
Church as well as a neighborhood bible study. She was a registered nurse and
monitored clinical trials. Lydia loved family time with her children and
loved to read the bible. She was a wonderful mother, a loving wife and
friend, and an inspiration to everyone she met. Survivors: husband of 14
years, Derek Dodson; sons, Harris and Spencer; daughter, Lily; parents, C.
J. (Curt) and Ann Meredith of Tabb, VA; sister, Cynthia Routt and husband
Louis of Tabb, VA and their children, Meredith and Hunter; brother, Curtis

Allen, Ruth Palmer

age 90 of Lenoir City, went home to be with the Lord, February 12, 2005 at
the Parkwest Medical Center. Ruth was a member of First Baptist Church in
Lenoir City. She was a member of the Faith Sunday School Class and had
taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for over 50 years. A member
of Grace Darling # 11 of Daughters of America for 75 years, American Legion
Auxiliary and was a very active member of the community. She and her family
managed the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company for many years. She retired from J&J
Chemical Co. where she was office manager. During her illness she has made
her home with her beloved daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law. Ruth was
preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Allen; brother, Ralph B. Palmer;
sister, Annie Mae (Polly) Jacobs. She leaves behind a son, Lynn P. Allen and
wife, Sandy of Sweetwater; daughter, Anna Allen Allison and her husband,
James of Lenoir City; two grandchildren, Tim Allison and wife, Laura of
Wilson NC, Misty Allison of Lenoir City; two great grandchildren, Amanda and
Andrew Allison of Wilson, NC along with several nieces and nephews. The

| Adkins, Wayne age 58 of Knoxville, formerly of Cleveland and Johnson City, passed away Sunday February 13, 2005 after a short illness. For many years, Wayne was a investigator with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and a police officer in Johnson City and Cleveland. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Etowah and a member of the FOP in Athens. Wayne was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Adkins. Foutch,
James L.,
61, of Knoxville passed away on Monday, Feb. 14, 2005. Born on July 1,
1943, he was the son of James M. and the late Delia Foutch. His father, of
Cookeville, Tennessee, survives him. Foutch served in the U.S. Army as an
Information Specialist from 1963 to 1966, and went on to earn his bachelor's
degree from the University of Tennessee in 1969. He was a 1970 graduate of
the University of Tennessee Law School. He joined the U.S. Department of
Energy in 1973 as primary counsel to all Oak Ridge Operations programs and
support organizations. He would later serve as the Assistant Manager for
Defense Programs for the Fernald, Ohio Site Office and the Y-12 Site
Office. Before retiring in 1995, Foutch would also serve as Deputy Chief
Counsel for Litigation and Programs and Acting Chief Counsel. Upon
retirement from DOE after years of exemplary service, Foutch joined Oak
Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) where he served as Vice President and
General Counsel and Deputy Director of the Oak Ridge Institute for Science
and Education. He is survived by his loving wife, Doreen; daughter and
son-in-law, Holly and Jason Wolfe of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law,
Hannah and Matthews Smith of Knoxville; daughter Heidi Foutch, Knoxville;
father and step-mother, James and Edna Foutch, Cookeville; step children,

of Farragut passed away Friday morning, February 18, 2005 in Houston, TX.
Suresh was a Cost & Estimating Engineer with Safety and Ecology Corp. in Oak
Ridge. He was an active member of the Hindu Community Center. Suresh came to
the United States in the early 1970's to fulfill his dreams and to create
opportunities for himself and his family. He was an avid landscaper, singer,
world traveler, amateur chef and novice travelogue writer. He was a patron
of the arts, in particular the performing arts, including theater and
music. Suresh was a caring husband and father; his family is very grateful
for his love, guidance, support and dedication. He was loved and well
respected by his family, friends, colleagues and community. Suresh is
survived by his wife of 33 years, Shirin Badlani; daughter, Monica Badlani
of Chicago, IL; son, Amman Badlani of Atlanta, GA; brother, Thakur Badlani;
sisters, Indu Mirani and Chanda Damani all of India, Laju Jadhwani of
Singapore, Gopi Tirthani of Spain and several nieces and nephews. Funeral

Cindy is survived by her son, parents from Limestone, NY, sister Kathleen Dougherty and her husband Clyde Lemarr III of Knoxville and brother Mat from Atlanta, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cindy was very proud of her Seneca Indian heritage and was a direct descendant of the legendary Chief Cornplanter, a member of the Heron Clan. Cindy was known to be the life of any party and brought happiness wherever she went. She had a huge heart for everyone and everything in nature especially her "critters", who she also considered family. Her caring nature and bright smile will be sadly missed by her family and countless friends. In the spirit of her giving nature, in our sorrow, she offers hope to others through organ donation. She was a member of Parkway Presbyterian Church on Sanctuary Lane in Knoxville. A Celebration of Her Life will be held there on Wednesday February 23, 2005 at 1pm and officiated by the Rev. | McNutt, Ershell J. - age 89 of the Tellico Village Community, Loudon, TN, formerly of Coldwater, MS, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2005, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. A longtime member of First Baptist Church in Coldwater, he was a deacon, Sunday school teacher and church clerk for many years. After moving to Tennessee he joined First Baptist Church in Tellico Village. He served in the U. S. Army 100th Division in France and Germany during W. W. II. Ershell was a graduate of Mississippi State University. He worked as a soil scientist for the Mississippi Experiment Station, a real estate broker, and retired from Rural Letter Carriers after 26 years service. He was preceded in death by wife, Inez Quillen McNutt; parents; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by 3 daughters: Ellen Millsaps and husband, Doug of Knoxville, TN, Myra Molgaard and husband, Tim, Patricia Patterson and husband, Bob, all of Tellico Village Community, Loudon, TN; grandchildren, Stephen Millsaps, Melissa Molgaard and Amanda Molgaard; brother, Jerrell McNutt of Auburn, AL; sister, Christine Oates of Craigville, MA; several nieces and nephews. | Lyon, William Southern Jr. (Bill) age 83 of Farragut died Friday morning, February 25, 2005. Bill was born in Pulaski, VA. He graduated from the University of Virginia and joined the Manhattan Project in 1944. After a year at Hanford WA, he returned to Oak Ridge and from 1947 to 1985 he was a radiochemist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He published a number of papers, gathered several awards, authored, co-authored and edited a number of technical books, was on the board of a number of technical journals and wrote a column for one of them. An avid reader, a poor golfer and an average tennis player, he enjoyed both sports and intellectual activities. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Carey Greer Lyon. Survivors include his son, William S. Lyon III and wife Robin of Farragut; daughter, Victoria Lyon Tolley and husband Dr. Vincent Tolley of Sevierville; grandchildren, Amanda and Adam Lyon, Josh, Laurie and Katie Tolley; sister, Jane Lyon Alderman and husband Ernest Alderman of Sarasota, FL; 3 very caring sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Greer Nichols of Oakfield, TN, Carolyn Greer Bond of Denmark, TN and Anne Greer Carter of Chattanooga, TN. - of Tellico Village Community, Loudon, passed away Monday, February 28,
2005, at Park West Hospital. Mrs. Adams attended Hillsboro High School in
Nashville and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She was an avid
bridge player, reader and boater. The Adams family lived in Nashville,
Birmingham, Memphis, Jackson, MS, Miami, Jacksonville, New Orleans, New
Jersey, Dallas and Atlanta before retiring to Loudon, TN. Mrs. Adams
attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Lenoir City. Preceded in
death by her father, Harmon C. Headden and her mother, Ruth Marie Dunnagan.
Survived by her husband, Donald G. Adams; she was the dedicated mother of
five children: Gray Adams of Atlanta, GA, Clay Adams of Indianapolis, IN,
Patrick Adams of San Diego, CA, Julie Adams of Atlanta, GA and Lee Ann Adams
of Wilmington, NC; she was known as “Mimi” to her six grandchildren: Kelsie,
Sammy, Sarah, Rachel, Julia and Graycen. Also surviving are her stepmother,
Dottie White; sisters, Nancy Young, Cheri Henderson and Ginger Mize;
brother, Henry Headden along with several nieces and nephews. She will be

He was a member of the Blountville United Methodist Church but had recently attended First Farragut United Methodist Church. L J was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the U S Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Etta Maddox.
