Selma was preceded in death by her husband, W.J. ( Bill) Hamilton who was a former Lenoir City Mayor, City Councilman, Justice of the Peace, and the first president of the Bank of Lenoir City. She was also preceded in death by her son Thomas Jefferson Hamilton. Semple, Terrance William, age 56 of Farragut, fomerly of Tulsa Oklahoma, passed away early Friday morning June 23, 2000 at St. Marys Hospice Center. Terry was retired from Lockheed Martin with 16 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a 1St Lt. Terry was a flight controller working with NASA on Apollo missions 13 thru 17. He was preceded in death by parents, William F. Semple and Mary Frances Butler Semple Durham. Moses, Joseph Henry age 78 of Bay Street Nassau Bahamas, passed away Tuesday morning June 27, 2000 in Knoxville Tennessee. Joseph owned and operated K.S. Moses and Sons Clothing, a family business, in Nassau Bahamas, until his retirement. He was a member of the BASAR rescue team in Nassau for many years.
