Coty Harrison Bluford

age 14 of Lenoir City, passed away suddenly May 7, 2008. He was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Vaughn’s Chapel Baptist Church. Coty was a Freshman at Lenoir City High School where he was a member of the Varsity Football Team and Freshman Basketball Team. He was an avid outdoorsman. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Henry Bluford, Sr.; great grandfather, Oscar Lane Sr.; uncle, Gary Wilson and cousins, Wanda and Amanda Lane. Survived by his mother, Lisa Harvey and husband, Gary Lynn; father, Henry Bluford and wife, Julia all of Lenoir City; brother, Connor Harvey; sisters, Rebekah and Katie Bluford; grandparents, Oscar and Donna Lane and Mary Bluford; great grandmother, Helen Lane; aunts, Monica Lane, Tammy Gallaher and husband, Paul and Carol Robinette; many great aunts, cousins and friends; girl friend, Taylor Stachowicz. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Randy Leming and Rev. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services. The Lenoir City High School Football Team and Basketball Team will serve as honorary pallbearers. Johnny H. Powell

age 79 of Neptune Beach, FL, passed away December 17, 2007. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer during WW II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. He was a longtime member of the VFW and the American Legion. Following Johnny’s military career he worked for the Federal Reserve where he retired as a Supervisor. Survivors include his brother, Jimmy Powell; sister-in-law, Dolores Powell; nieces, Patricia (James) Spence and Joy L. (Mike) Wright; nephews, Jimmy Powell and Jeff W. (Sarah) Powell; several great nieces and nephews; his life time friends, Richard and Carol Brymer, Georgia Mae Hammons, Kathy Reeves, Pat and Debbie. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret and his brother, Jeff Powell. Family and friends will gather at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10th at the Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services with military honors conferred by the Loudon County Veteran's Honor Guard. Veronica Kleeman (Bits) Sineath

age 87 of Albany, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008.  Bits was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church in Albany.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Bits enjoyed needlework, camping and serving in various organizations in her church and community.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James A. Jeffers Jackson (Jeff) Stubbs

age 60 of Plant City, Florida, passed away May 6, 2008, at his home. He served in the United States Army and currently a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Plant City, Florida Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and Jack Stubbs and his brother, David Stubbs. Jeff is survived by his wife, Jessica; his sister, Connie Lemon; his step-daughters, Barbara Mershon and husband, Chris; Jessica Irwin and husband, Paul; many grandchildren, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 9 at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City, TN. Mary Louise Wetzel White

of Knoxville, formerly of Cincinnati, OH and Naples, FL, died Monday evening, May 5, 2008 at her home. Mary Lou was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, was active with the Senior Kids and a former choir member. She was retired from Randall J. Condon School for Handicapped Children in Cincinnati with 22 years of service as a Physical Therapist. She received her certification in Physical Therapy from the State University of Iowa. Mary Lou was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling and was member of Mystic 13 of the National Mortar Board Association. She was a member of the Welcome Wagon Club, Newcomers Club, Women’s Omni Club, Frank Strang Senior Center and was a former MS. Senior Knoxville. She was active in the Red Hat Society. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Thomas White; parents, Louis J. Wetzel and Sarah Elizabeth Steigerwald Wetzel; brothers, Lawrence, Edward and Joseph Obermeyer. Survivors: daughter, Andrea J. White Eberle M.D. of AR; granddaughters, Rachel C. Eberle of Knoxville and Monica B. Antonacci and husband Joseph of AR; great grandsons, Corey, Scott and Alexander  and Nathan Antonacci; sisters, Theresa Anderson and husband Paul of FL, Sara Knepfle, Bernadette Hunneman, Angela Breen and husband, Patrick all of Cincinnati, OH; brothers, John Wetzel and wife Betty of FL, David Wetzel and wife Eileen of IL, Leo Wetzel and wife Rita of FL; many nieces and nephews. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church with Father Michael Woods celebrant. The family will receive friends afterwards in The Hall.
