Obituary for Anna Mae Lane

Anna Mae Lane, age 82 of Maryville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Anna was a member of Hickory Valley Baptist Church in Friendsville. She was the daughter of the late Leonard Coleman and Nellie Howard Coleman. She dedicated her life to caring for others. Anna retired from Lakeshore Mental Hospital with 33 years of service. She took great pride in her work. Anna was a considerate and loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and Johnny Coleman and sisters, Rena Radford and Cordelia Yates. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Bennie Lane; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Cristina Lane; granddaughter, Aviva Lane; brother, Fred Coleman; sisters, Ruby Lynch and Margie Giffin; several nieces and nephews. The Lane family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to caretaker, Darlene Hawkins and Blount Memorial Hospice, especially nurse, Heather Parrott who provided wonderful treatment and care for Anna in the last few months. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 14th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. A procession will follow to Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
