Obituary for Harlan M. Klepper

Harlan M. Klepper age 76 of Lenoir City passed away Sunday, June 17, 2018. He was affectionately known as “Unc” by his family. Harlan loved the Lord, helping others, and sharing the fruits of his labor with others. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Army where he received the Vietnam Service Medal. Harlan was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He formerly worked at Furrow-Justice Equipment as Service Manager and also John Deere Company later known as Nortrax. Harlan was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd P. Klepper and Bertha Sizemore Klepper; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bill Dupes, and brother-in-law, Neal Ringley. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Margie Wilkerson Klepper; sisters, Elsie Ringley and Dot Newcomb (Frank); numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19th at Highland Park Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10:30 Wednesday morning at the gate at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville for graveside services and military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church Building Fund Program. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
