Obituary for Paul Richard Kagley

Paul Richard Kagley age 83 of Lenoir City passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was retired from the City of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and was of the Baptist faith. Paul spent his days with friends at Hardee’s, Goodwill and Walmart in Lenoir City. He ended most days drinking coffee and enjoying country music with his second family at Cotton Eyed Joes in Knoxville. Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; parents, Shorty and Iva Kagley; brother, Tommy Kagley; sisters, Betty Haage and Rose Goforth. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Teresa Kagley of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Janaica Kagley and Brittany (Justin) Horrell and Dylan Kagley; great-grandchildren: Lucy, Elizabeth, Jude, Mason and Rylynn; sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Larry Currier; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 8th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Joe Yelton officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 Monday morning and proceed to Dixie Lee Baptist Church Cemetery for 11 a.m. graveside services. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
