Obituary for Peggy Jenkins Shubert

Peggy Jenkins Shubert age 83 of 434 Church Drive, Lenoir City, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 7:50 a.m. at her home. She was a member of The Voice of Victory Church in Sevierville. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Rev. Leonard H. Shubert; daughter, Sandra Shubert; infant son, David; grandchildren, Candida, Michael, Sierra and Scott; sons-in-law, Bob Brown and Mike Clabough; parents, Raymond and Louise Jenkins. Survived by her daughters, Kathy Brown and Debbie Clabough; granddaughters, Cassidy Edwards (whom she raised) and husband, Clifford (Eddie), Aimee Kirkendol and husband, Todd, Melissa Ballinger, P. J. Helton and Ricky Littleton, Tasha Keller and husband, Justin; grandson, Josh Butler and Rachael Lambert; great-grandchildren, Mason and Marissa Ballinger, Jake, Lindsay and Braden Mealer, Katie Kirkendol and William Ty, Kara, Kavari and Jace Edwards, Kaiman Botocan and Rowan Butler; brother, George Jenkins; sister, Shirley Weaver along with several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11th at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Curtis Manning officiating. Family and friends will proceed to Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
