Obituary for Richard H. Griffin

Richard H. Griffin age 72 of Lenoir City passed away Friday evening, May 18, 2018 at his home. He was a devoted husband and father. Richard was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Preceded in death by his parents, Hamilton and Gertrude Griffin; siblings, Sadie Buckner, J. R. Griffin and Edward (Plug) Griffin. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Claudine Griffin; son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Layla Griffin; siblings: Evelyn Fox, Patsy Denton, David Griffin(Jan), and Mark Griffin (Gail); several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22nd at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the East Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway in Knoxville with military honors. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
