Obituary for Robert "Bob" M. Scarbrough

Robert M. “Bob” Scarbrough of Lenoir City, born September 25, 1942 passed away February 10, 2018, is fishing with the Lord. Bob was a veteran serving in the United States Army. He had a career with Goodyear Tire Company and later served Loudon County Animal Control as “Dog Catcher”. Bob was an avid fisherman and had a passion for horses He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennie Scarbrough Thomas; parents, William and Nora Scarbrough; brothers and sisters-in-law: Carl Scarbrough, Bill and Johnnie Ann Scarbrough, Ray Scarbrough, Edith Ann Scarbrough Lamon. Survived by his children: Barbara Fagg and husband, James, Taylor Scarbrough, Robert Scarbrough; grandchildren: Teagan McCollum, Natalisha Sona, Christian Thomas, and Julia Collins; great granddaughter: Zoey Sona; brother, Clarence Scarbrough; sisters-in-law, Judy Scarbrough and Delores Scarbrough; special friend and former spouse, Phyllis Estes; special friends, Rueben and Brenda Terry; friends and fishing buddies: Larry Buchanan, Larry and Helen Aikens along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, February 17th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
