Obituary for William Harvey Moats

William Harvey Moats age 83 of Lenoir City passed away Friday, November 24, 2017. He owned and operated Harvey Sheet Metal. Harvey loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Moats; son, Garland Moats; parents, Theodore and Gussie Moats, brother, Clifford Moats and sister, Helen Robinson. Survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Julia Moats, Richard and Becky Moats; grandson, Douglas Scott Moats and wife, Leann; granddaughters, Katie Elizabeth Miller and husband, Matt, and Traci Jo Moats; special great-grandson, Joshua Douglas Moats; brother, John Moats; sisters, Ruth Brady, Margie Jenkins Fowler, Faye Stiles, Betty Williams and husband, Gilbert; brother-in-law, Charles Robinson; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 27th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 9:30 Tuesday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for 10 a.m. graveside services. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
